The USR project of STUST, "Carbon Storage and Fishing: A Cross-Border Integrated Sustainable Net-Zero Development Plan for Green Energy Creation and Smart Farming in Tuchengzai, the Ancient Capital," recently held the "Wind Rock Green Electric Lawn Music Concert" in conjunction with the 55th anniversary of the school, using wind and solar complementary power generation to provide clean energy for the concert and deepening the connection with local industries through local food promotion. In addition, the event also established a cross-border connection with the University of Colorado Boulder in the United States, looking forward to future cooperation and exchanges between the two parties in the field of wind energy.

The Carbon Storage and Fishing USR project team brought together seven groups of orchestras and performers from both inside and outside the school for this grassland concert. The performances, powered entirely by renewable energy, demonstrated the practical spirit of energy independence. The team also cooperated with local brands, including "Zhangjiaquan White Shrimp" and "Good Food Cottage," to create fish-eating quiz games paired with fresh local fisheries and specialty snacks, so that the public could learn about sustainable fisheries through games and food, and then promote a friendly food culture. This event also received support from Chingyang Enterprise, which sponsored STUST with LED balloon lights to provide lighting for the concert, allowing green energy to light up the campus.

The event also arranged an international video exchange session. The CU Boulder Student Wind Energy Team, a wind energy student club at the University of Colorado, Boulder led by Professor Roark Lanning, enthusiastically participated in this green energy music event through video in the early hours of the local morning, , symbolizing that young generations across the world will work together for green energy and sustainable development.

Prof. You-ren Chen, the host of the Carbon Storage and Fishing USR Project, said that the energy installation required for the Green Electric Grassland Concert Site was entirely handled by the student team from the Green Electric Rock Maker Research Club, which was established under the project. From checking and arranging equipment, energy configuration, and setting up beforehand to responding immediately during the event, the students demonstrated their professional technical abilities and high degree of teamwork. This event was not only a display of the results of the project but also a major verification of the school's dedication to talent cultivation over the years. It is hoped that through students' practice and innovation, the concepts of energy independence and local industry upgrading will continue to be passed on and carried forward.

The "Carbon Storage and Fishing" USR project combines green energy technology and smart management to promote innovation in aquaculture fisheries and promote local energy independence. This event also demonstrated the project's connection with both local partners and international teams. President Huang emphasized that STUST is committed to deepening local cooperation and realizing the core value of "sharing good things with the local area."
