The 14th membership meeting of the STUST EMBA Alumni Association and the handover ceremony of the chairman and conference staff were held recently at the Silks Place Hotel in Tainan City. EMBA CEO Tsang-shiang Cheng served as the supervisor and conveyed his hearfelt blessings.

The position of chairman of the EMBA Alumni Association was formally handed over to Yu-tian Ding, an alumnus of the 19th class, who is currently the operating director of Shangshin Interior Decoration Design Co., Ltd. and also the chairman of the Jiayou Transportation Group. She is the first female chairman in the association’s history. Nearly 300 distinguished guests, including former EMBA presidents and senior alumni, attended the event. Coincidentally, the STUST International Scholars Dinner was being held at the same venue. During the meeting, President Neng-fu Huang specially invited vice presidents and other school officials to join the handover ceremony to express deep gratitude to the 13th Chairman, Jia-li Liu, for uniting alumni and promoting team cohesion during his tenure. He also extended sincere congratulations to the 14th Chairman, Yu-tian Ding, for taking on this glorious responsibility. President Huang expressed confidence that, under her wise leadership, the new team of trustees and supervisors will continue to strengthen the association's influence and become a driving force for STUST’s growth. The event also welcomed representatives from the STUST Alumni Association, Tainan Alumni Association, Tainan City STUST Boss Ladies Association, STUST Key Leaders University, and other distinguished guests from the new advisory group. The atmosphere was lively and celebratory.

In his speech, EMBA CEO Tsang-shiang Cheng praised the EMBA Alumni Association for becoming an indispensable bridge connecting EMBA alumni under the leadership of successive chairmen. He expressed his hopes that the new chairman would lead the team, unite alumni, and create new milestones by building on past achievements. Outgoing Chairman Jia-li Liu reflected on his tenure and shared that every innovative activity planned by the team had left a lasting impression. He hoped that teachers and alumni would continue to support the 14th EMBA Alumni Association team led by Chairman Yu-tian Ding with the same enthusiasm shown for the 13th EMBA team.

Yu-tian Ding, elected as the 14th Chairman of the EMBA Alumni Association, has adopted the slogan "Gentle Women’s Power, Wisdom, and an Outstanding Future to Shine in Southern Taiwan" as her guiding belief. She emphasized that women’s strength is a powerful force and expressed her determination to shine brightly both personally and for the EMBA Alumni Association. Looking ahead, she vowed to collaborate with the 14th EMBA team to honor the legacy built by former Chairmen, continue innovative ideas, and organize fun, engaging, and inspiring activities that combine leisure with happiness. She also stressed the importance of maintaining the association’s role as an efficient communication and interaction platform for EMBA alumni and the school. Finally, she sincerely invited teachers and senior alumni to continue offering support and encouragement to the 14th team as they embark on this new journey.
