Explanation:
I. To encourage outstanding scholars with research potential to combine interdisciplinary research capabilities and promote international academic collaboration, conduct research on forward-looking issues, develop new research fields, or explore core international issues, and ultimately cultivate outstanding scholars and research teams, strengthen the research capabilities of academic research talent, and achieve groundbreaking and far-reaching academic research results, the NSTC Department of Humanities is promoting the "Humanities and Social Sciences Research Excellence Project."
II. This announcement solicits both individual and single-integration projects, and project leaders are encouraged to form interdisciplinary research teams to submit applications. For single-integration projects, the overall project and sub-projects should be combined into one application submitted by the overall project leader.
III. Research project applications should be submitted in accordance with the NSTC Subsidized Special Research Project Operation Guidelines. When applying, please create your research project application online and upload relevant application documents through the NSTC "Academic Research and Development Service Network," under Application Project – Special Research Project – "Humanities and Social Sciences Research Excellence Project."
IV. This application will be reviewed according to the prescribed procedures, and subsidies will be awarded based on the best results. Applications not selected for funding will not be accepted.
V. One copy of the project solicitation notice is attached and published on the NSC website (http://www.nstc.gov.tw).
