At the beginning of the event, the thunderous Drum Cub performed to the shock of the audience. The Martial Arts Clubs offered a variety of performances, including flags in formation, nunchakus, golden eagle fist, and double knives. 9 groups of international students participated in the show with their performances to demonstrate the unique style of their countries; include El Rey, which is well known to every household in Mexicans; worshipping dances and king dances often seen in various Indian celebrations; the Danish song “Svantes Lykkelige Dag” (Svantes Happy Day); Indonesian harvest festivals and the traditional Indonesian martial arts; songs by the 1976 legendary singer in France—Claude François—which have been repeated reinterpreted by many young singers in recent years; the international groups formed by students from Peru, Mongolia, Russia, and Indonesia—a rare cooperation indeed over the past few years in the international arts and culture festival. These foreign students also demonstrated their abilities and introduced their cultural aspirations to Taiwan in a timely manner. The guests and teachers and students were pleasantly surprised. One of the most pleasant surprises was that President Deng-Maw Lu also sang the song “The Moon Represents My Heart,” a song that international students are all familiar with. The song moved the audience to resonate on the stage, just like a small concert, with applause from the beginning to the end.
