The press conference of the 50th anniversary for the founding of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology was mainly to announce to all walks of life that the university would launch a series of activities for its 50th anniversary and that Chairman Jin-Fa Huang of Quanyu Industrial Corporation and Chairman Wei-Ren Chen Shengzhan Biotechnology Corporation were both elected outstanding alumni. At the same time, awards were presented by EMBA Alumni Association to teachers and students with great performance in “E Moment Beauty Action." The "50th Anniversary Celebration Film” for the Founding is based on the theme "Dancing in New Southern Taiwan and Making the World Know Our Strength,” jointly shot and produced by the teachers and students of the Department of Information Communication. The film has a background music written by teachers and students of the Department of Popular Music Industry, along with dances performed by students of the Pop Dance Club. It presents a chain of precious historical photos over the past 50 years that carry the development status of the university and the skydiving of the National Army Shenlong Group. The documentary film celebrated the 50th anniversary of the university, fully showcasing the vitality and cohesion of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology.
