Jia-Ling Li has a petite figure, but she is able to carry heavy objects such as large wooden boards and paint. She just graduated from high school, just 18 years old. She was well trained by her high school. With only three years of professional training, she won the prize. Currently studying at the Department of Multimedia and Entertainment Science, STUST, for the first year, she likes novels, manga, and animation. She said that she likes to learn specialties in different fields. This year, she enrolled in the Department of Multimedia and Entertainment Science at STUST as her first choice. She has gained a lot in this respect. With her expertise in color recognition and color perception, she hopes that it will be helpful in the future of animation game design.

As shy and petite as Jia-Ling Li is, she has a clear mind and logic. When asked why she chose to study at the Department of Multimedia and Entertainment Science despite her high-quality technology in paint and decoration, she said that her expertise and interest are various and there is no conflict between them. If the expertise and interest can strike a balance and have something in common with each other, there should be good inspiration and sparks of thoughts. She further said that in the future, she would continue to work hard in paint and decoration, hoping to win glory for the country; on the other hand, she would study hard in academic interest. She said that she likes the feeling of being invested and focused on one thing.

Zhi-Cheng Sun, Chairman the Department of Multimedia and Entertainment Science at STUST, said that Jia-Ling Li has started to practice hard since the winter break of her first semester of high school, in order to prepare for this national competition. She painted almost every winter and summer vacation, and finally worked hard to win the gold medal. She has been working hard along the way, relying on her personal perseverance and endurance, overcoming all kinds of difficulties, and constantly practicing and correcting. Jia-Ling Li's working attitude and spirit deserve other students' emulation. In addition to full support and assistance in the future the department also hopes that she will be able to move towards her dream.
