1. The transformation is centered on the modernized student society building in Building G, which has earlier been refurbished. In the west, there is the magnificent Sixth Dormitory for students; in the east, the First Dormitory for students is connected to the country's largest modern sheltered stadium. The two student dormitories face each other and embrace the entire tracks and field, forming the best space for the convenience of student life and sports.

2. The Student Society building, Building G, overlooks the auxiliary teaching area of the entire university to the north, where the core area of student activities is located. In front of the building stands a banyan garden, which has been transformed into Heaven and Earth Square—a place of nostalgia and modernity.

3. Yoho Sports Hall serves the need of table tennis, badminton, fitness and workout, offering a good place for students to do exercise indoors.

4. Roads have been reconstructed and well paved in front of Building F to construct a complete traffic line within the campus.

5. The newly building water square—By the Waterside—offers large and small outdoor performance spaces for teachers and students.

7. STUST attaches great importance to extracurricular activities for students and newly built facilities, such as Jixian Performing Arts Hall, the modern and fully sound-absorbing concert hall, the student entrepreneurship space, and the exhibition hall for ancient machinery.
