The Ocean Cup Competition is an important warm-up match for the contestants before the College Cup Competition. All the contestants of STUST had been intensively training for the competition process since the beginning of the year. STUST signed up for the first and second levels of the cheerleading mixed team this year, with two groups participating in the competition, and some graduate alumni signed up to participate in the second level of the cheerleading double team. The group was the most basic skill training course for the contestants, and it was also an important part of participating in a large group competition. Only in small groups could the entire team participate in the perfect process of participating in the large group competition. In addition, Ruo-Tsi Wu and Hong-Zhe Shih, first-place players in the cheerleading double team, are graduate alumni of the Department of Information Management and the Department of Mechanical Engineering of STUST, respectively. The excellent results players obtained in the first cooperative competition are worthy of encouragement. They were also a good example for the students and lower grades. They often returned to STUST to impart professional and technical teaching.

Shuan-Ting Shu, a member of the competitive cheerleading team of STUST, said that this year is the second year of her joining the competitive cheerleading club. Participating in the Ocean Cup competition has always been one of his goals, and she wanted to give herself a chance to grow and to be recognized. During the practice, the team members must communicate, cooperate, and discuss professional skills to present a perfect process. The ups and downs were necessary elements for progress and growth. By participating in this Ocean Cup competition, they looked forward to a breakthrough of their professional skills. The team played at a higher level than their usual practice on the day of the competition, showing a full-scale competition process. It was the first team to participate in the competition and won second place in the first level of the mixed group, which is worthy of praise. Feng-Tsen Tsai, Captain of the competitive cheering team of STUST, said that on behalf of all the team members, he would like to thank the school for their support, the extracurricular team of the Academic Affairs Office for their help, the guidance of coach Yi-Ting Huang, and the care of many graduate alumni.
