The the 2022 National Business Plan and Project Production Competition for Vocational Senior High School was organized by STUST and held in its Nianzi International Conference Hall. This competition has been held for 15 consecutive years. A total of 158 teams from all over the country have signed up for the competition. After the preliminary selection, 30 teams were shortlisted for the opportunity to give a presentation on stage, and another 24 teams were invited to present as a poster at the venue. It was indeed a fierce competition.

The participating teams came from Taipei, New Taipei, Hsinchu, Miaoli, Nantou, Taichung, Changhua, Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung and Pingtung. There were more than 200 participating teachers and students in this rare, special competition for vocational high school students in the field of business management in southern Taiwan.

This competition focused on writing and teaching of business plans. Students had to simulate the actual business situation during the competition, think systematically about starting a new business or solving specific business problems, and at the same time demonstrate their writing ability and strength to report and conduct formal oral presentations. In addition, the participating teachers from different schools had the opportunity to observe and exchange their teaching experiences with each other. Thanks to the exciting process of the activity, the participating students felt excited and gained a lot. The creative ideas of many groups could be integrated into the concept of environmental protection, exerting their unlimited potential to make their plans impressive.

Deng-Maw Lu, President of STUST, said in his opening speech that this competition was able to link high school vocational students with universities. Through the planning competition, students could comprehensively apply what they had learned as they came up with thoughtful solutions to practical problems. This year, the competition entered its 15th year. He hoped this competition, like the Japanese high school baseball of Koshien, would last for years. Through this competition, he saw see the dedication and hard work of the contestants. Such a profound learning effect would surely improve the students' comprehensive application ability of business management-related knowledge. Through this competition, he saw the creativity and originality of the students, and he hoped that through such competitions and observations, more new ideas would be inspired, surely injecting new vitality into Taiwan's economy in the future.
