2018/8/16 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology and Chi Mei Hospital worked together to create new achievements: "multi-functional mobility aids cane" for the safety of the elderly. "Multi-functional mobility aids cane," completed by Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology and Chi Mei Hospital, won first place in the 2018 Medical Aids 3D Print Competition hosted by AI_ROBOT@I-Shou University STEAM Base, bring forth new assistance to disabled elderly. 2018/8/14 2018 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology and Nan Jeon University of Science and Technology rode together into the ancient Yuejin, roaming Yanshiue and have fun with punching. The project team of "Creation and Dissemination of Cultural Elements—Fucheng v.s. Yuejin," formed by Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology's, for the first time co-organized with its partner Nan Rong University of Science and Technology an event called "Roaming into ancient Yuejin and punching through Yanshiue Town.” 2018/7/24 Department of Leisure, Recreation, and Tourism Management, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, showed great performance, with its start company Re□Less winning the champion in the 2018 CHU Micro Entrepreneurship Competition.
