I am looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant (TA) for the Statistics course in the Spring semester of 2025. The course is applying to participate in the Higher Education Sprout Project at STUST and will be taught entirely in English to international undergraduate students. Therefore, TA applicants are required to comply with the relevant regulations of the project. The course will be held on Tuesday afternoons, from 12:50 PM to 3:40 PM, during the Spring semester of 2025.

**Job Responsibilities
1. The course is applying for participation in the MOE Higher Education Sprout Project at STUST and is taught entirely in English. Therefore, TA applicants must adhere to the relevant regulations set by the STUST Academic Affairs Office, including submitting reports/forms as requested and attending training events provided by the university.
2. The TA applicants must have completed undergraduate-level Statistics I and II courses. If the applicants have completed Statistics I and II from the International Business Program (English-taught) will be preferably.
3. The course is taught entirely in English, so the TA must communicate in English throughout the course.
4. The TA must attend the entire course to track its progress, observe students' reactions to the content, and record students' questions for the instructor to address. The TA will also be required to arrange service hours in the TA Corner (TAC) for student support.
5. The TA will cooperate with the instructor to guide students in taking initiative in their learning.

**Work Period
The TA work period for this semester will begin on March 10, 2025 (Monday) and end on June 20, 2025 (Friday).

**Work Hours and Salary (5 hours per week, NT$190 per hour):
(1) Salary for March and June: NT$190 * 15 hours = NT$2,850.
(2) Salary for April and May: NT$190 * 20 hours = NT$3,800.
