1. The 2025 Urban Resilience (Air Defense) Drill will be conducted as follows:

Central Region: July 15, 2025 (Tuesday)

Southern Region: July 16, 2025 (Wednesday)

Northern Region: July 17, 2025 (Thursday)

Eastern and Offshore Islands (Kinmen, Matsu, Penghu): July 18, 2025 (Friday)

2. Our school is located in the Southern Region (Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County), where a 30-minute practical drill will take place on July 16, 2025 (Wednesday), from 13:30 to 14:00. The drill includes air raid alert dissemination, evacuation and sheltering, traffic control, and other necessary measures.

3. Upon the activation of the nationwide air defense alert, the following actions should be taken:

All individuals and vehicles must comply with guidance from military, police, and civil defense personnel, and promptly take shelter in nearby air raid shelters (which should be clearly marked). Military units will follow their own air defense plans. If shelters are not immediately accessible, use natural terrain or structures for effective cover.

For companies, shops, venues, schools, factories, and residential homes, the following measures must be observed:

Close all doors, windows, and curtains.

Turn off indoor lighting.

Restrict all movement and comply with traffic control as follows:

High-Speed Rail (HSR) and Taiwan Railways (TRA): Trains will run as scheduled. Disembarking passengers and accompanying persons must follow guidance to evacuate.

MRT Systems: Trains will operate normally (underground sections will be managed by MRT authorities). Disembarking passengers must follow guidance to evacuate.

Highways and Expressways: Ramps will be controlled in the drill area. Vehicles already on the highway may continue, but those exiting must follow evacuation procedures like pedestrians. If in open areas, use terrain features, underpasses, tunnels, or bridge foundations for shelter.

Airports and Ports (Domestic): Aircraft and ships will operate normally. However, disembarking passengers and accompanying persons must evacuate under guidance.

Military Airports and Ports: To be managed according to Air Force and Navy Headquarters instructions.

Indoor Residents: Immediately seek shelter in designated air raid shelters within the building (e.g., basements). If no shelter is available nearby, move to a sturdy interior room with few windows. Adopt protective posture, and shut off gas and electricity to avoid fire hazards.

Pedestrians and Drivers on Roads: Follow the instructions of police and civil defense personnel. Alternatively, use the "Police Services App" to navigate to the nearest location marked with the yellow “Air Raid Shelter” sign. Building security or residents should open basement gates or barriers to allow public access.

4. When the siren sounds at 13:30 on the day of the drill, all university personnel must refrain from outdoor movement and immediately take shelter in basements or classrooms. Office staff should shut all doors and windows and remain indoors until the drill ends at 14:00, after which normal activities may resume.

5. If you are outside the campus, it is recommended to download the “Police Services App”, open the "Air Raid Shelter & Evacuation Section", and select a point to view shelter capacity and other information. You can then set a route and navigate directly.
The “Police Services App” features Quick Search, Nearby Locator, Instant Sharing, and Navigation with Positioning — students and staff are encouraged to make full use of it.
