National Science Council's 2026 "Nanotechnology Innovation and Application Plan" Concept Paper

Subject: The National Science Council (NSC) is soliciting proposals for its 2026 "Nanotechnology Innovation and Application Program." Applications are now accepted until September 25, 2025 (on-campus submissions).

Instructions:
1. This year's proposal solicitation includes two categories: the "Innovation and Application Program" and the "Advanced Nanotechnology Program." Applications are limited to one application per category.
2. Project leaders will be notified to submit specific proposals after their proposals are reviewed and recommended. The program is expected to begin on August 1, 2026, subject to the actual approval date by the NSC.
3. Project leaders should apply online through the NSC's "Specialized Research Project/(Proposal Category) Nanotechnology Innovation and Application Program Proposal." Applications can be submitted online without submitting them online through the applicant institution or by submitting a list to the NSC. The relevant announcement can be downloaded from the website of the Natural Science and Sustainability Research and Development Office (https://www.nstc.gov.tw/nat/ch).
