To dispel long-standing misunderstandings and discrimination against epilepsy and promote awareness of the condition, the Taiwan Epilepsy Association is organizing its 23rd "Human Compassion - Caring for Epilepsy" Essay Contest, aiming to foster greater understanding and respect for epilepsy. Submissions are open from now until December 20, 2015. All members of the public and students from universities, high schools, junior high schools, and elementary schools nationwide are welcome to participate. There are eight groups, with four winners selected from each. The first prize will receive a NTD$3,000 prize, a certificate, and a portfolio. Individuals with epilepsy or their families and friends are encouraged to participate. Please see the attached instructions for details.
