1. In line with the 2030 bilingual policy and the freshman English reform, our university's EMI Teaching Resource Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) is assisting students from all universities in transitioning to EMI courses. We recommend offering an ESP (English for Special Purposes) course starting in their freshman year. This course will integrate workplace contexts and field requirements into the freshman English curriculum, laying a solid foundation for students' specialized field language skills and aligning them with EMI courses and future workplace needs.
