The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) is soliciting applications for the 2026 "Science Popularization Product Production, Broadcasting, and Promotion Industry-Academia Collaboration Project." Applicants must complete their online applications by 8:00 AM on December 24, 2025 (Wednesday) (the deadline for university applicants). Late applications will not be accepted.

I. Implementation Period: The project is planned to run for one year, starting in June 2026. The actual start and end dates may be adjusted according to the NSTC's schedule.

II. Types of Subsidy:

(a) Production and Broadcast of Science Popularization Films: The product format must be either a film or an animated film (choose one).

(b) Science Communication and Promotion: The project must utilize two or more different types of communication platforms or channels (including television or online new media) to broadcast, publish, and distribute the main product, and broadcast the main product on overseas platforms (preferably in New Southbound Policy countries) or channels.

III. Subsidy Amount: The subsidy will be handled in accordance with point VII of the operational guidelines. The total subsidy amount for each project will not exceed NT$10 million. IV. Cooperation fee from partner companies: At least 30% of the cost of producing, broadcasting, and promoting science popularization products.
