[Notification] National Land Surveying and Mapping Center, Ministry of the Interior – “Application Program for National Mapping Data Samples”

The National Land Surveying and Mapping Center (NLSC), Ministry of the Interior, in order to promote the application of national mapping data and assist schools in conducting spatial information education and research, has designated one urban area and one rural area to provide “sample datasets” containing multiple layers of mapping information. Faculty members and students of all institutions are welcome to apply for use according to the program guidelines.

Details:
1.Application Method: For applicants from universities or higher education institutions, please fill in the name of the department under “School (Department)/Academic Organization.” The sample data will be authorized for use by the specified department.
2.Submission Procedure: Each school or academic organization shall submit the completed “Sample Data Application Form” (see Appendix 2) via official correspondence.
3.Review Process: The NLSC will issue an official reply with the approval or rejection result within 10 working days after receiving the application. If corrections are required, the review period may be extended by an additional 10 working days.
4.Approval Result: Approved applicants will receive an official reply along with two CDs containing the sample datasets. If the applicant fails to make the requested corrections within the specified period or submits incomplete corrections, the application will be rejected by official notice.
