Subject: NSTC is soliciting grants for the 2026 "Project to Encourage Women in Scientific and Technological Research." Applications are open from now until January 4, 2026 (internal application deadline is January 4, 2026).
**Instructions:**
1. Women possess strong capabilities and make significant contributions to scientific and technological research; however, due to external challenges at different stages, they are continuously leaving the research field. To expand the research capacity of women, encourage and support women's careers in scientific and technological research, and enhance the overall technological development momentum of our nation, this project is being sought.
2. **Project Principal Investigator Qualifications:** Applicants must meet the requirements of point 3 of the NSTC Subsidized Special Research Project Operation Guidelines and be female researchers who have not been undertaking a special research project between August 1, 2022, and July 31, 2026 (excluding any extension periods).
3. Each project principal investigator is limited to one application. The implementation period is 1 to 3 years, starting from August 1, 2026.
IV. Applications for this project will be submitted entirely online. All application forms should be created through the "Academic Research and Development Service Network" section of the National Science Council website (http://www.nstc.gov.tw).
