To accelerate the digital transformation and smart upgrade of the manufacturing industry in southern Taiwan, the National Science Council has launched the "Smart Rainforest Industry Creation Subsidy Program." Based on the "Greater Southern New Silicon Valley Promotion Plan," this program connects academia, IT service providers, and manufacturers in southern Taiwan, focusing on the introduction and application of AI in manufacturing environments to create a cross-disciplinary, collaborative innovation ecosystem.

This inter-ministerial program focuses on promoting industry-academia collaboration in smart manufacturing. It will explain the key points of the call for applications, application methods, and implementation framework, helping schools understand how to collaborate with industry to develop AI technology solutions. Through successful case studies, it will showcase the concrete results of academia's technological value-added efforts and talent cultivation. We sincerely invite schools, IT service providers, and manufacturers in southern Taiwan interested in investing in AI applications and industry-academia collaboration in smart manufacturing to participate and jointly seize this new opportunity for AI industrialization!

In addition, the Ministry of Education has also planned to launch related talent development programs. Please see the attachments for brief introductions to both programs.
