To help you improve your academic English skills, the Ministry of Education is hosting the 2026 Cool English Academic Vocabulary Competition. This online contest focuses on four major themes: The Academic World, Education & Learning, Science & Technology, and Globalization & Culture.
In addition to the official national prizes, our school is offering an exclusive bonus for all participants!
【School-Specific Bonus Information】
• Reward: Earn 1 point for your "Learning Task Score."
• Requirement: Achieve an average score of 60 or above in the competition.
• How to Register for Points: From May 8 to May 15, please visit the Foreign Language Self-Learning Center (S212). You must show your "Individual Score Result" screen to Jason to register your points.
【General Competition Details】
• Eligibility: All currently enrolled university and college students.
• Competition Period: April 1, 2026, to April 30, 2026 (until 17:00).
• Platform: Cool English Online Learning Platform.
• Registration & Rules:
◦ Log in with your student account, go to "Competition > Higher Education > 2026 Academic Vocabulary Competition" to register.
◦ Complete 4 sets of questions (120 questions total).
◦ You can attempt the test up to 3 times; only your highest score will be recorded.
• Official National Rewards:
◦ Certificate of Excellence: Awarded to students with an average score of 95 or above.
◦ Lucky Draw: Students who qualify for the certificate also have a chance to win NT800orNT500 convenience store gift cards.
• Announcement of Results:
◦ Preliminary winners will be announced by May 8, 2026.
◦ Final official winners will be announced by May 22, 2026.
• Prize Collection: Official certificates and gift cards will be sent to the school’s Language Center (or Office of Academic Affairs) in early June for distribution.
