I. Since 2017, our university's Vietnam Research Center has offered the "International Vietnamese Language Proficiency Certification" exam. Based on the CEFR standards and conforming to the Vietnamese language certification grading standards published by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education on September 1, 2015 (So: 17/2015/TT-BGDDT), the exam is divided into three levels and six grades (3 cap 6 bac): A1 (Basic), A2 (Elementary), B1 (Intermediate), B2 (Advanced Intermediate), C1 (Advanced), and C2 (Professional). It is currently recognized by the Ministry of Education and many overseas universities' Vietnamese departments, such as Vietnam National University, Hanoi University, Harvard University, Australian National University, and Osaka University.
II. The Center will hold the "2026 Spring International Vietnamese Language Proficiency Certification" on May 9th (Sat) of this year (2026). Online registration will be open from March 3rd to March 25th. III. This spring's Vietnamese language certification exam includes three levels: A, B, and C.
