I. The JLPT is an international test assessing the Japanese language proficiency of learners and users. The Taiwan test center is jointly organized by the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association, the Japan Foundation, and this center.

II. This is a paper-and-pencil test, divided into five levels, from most difficult to easiest: N1, N2, N3, N4, and N5. Test scores are widely used for academic assessment, school entrance exams, job applications, company promotions, and new employee selection.

III. Test times: N1 and N2 are conducted simultaneously in the morning; N3, N4, and N5 are conducted simultaneously in the afternoon. Please refer to the test information section on the Taiwan website for detailed test times.

IV. Starting this round, the registration fee has been adjusted: N1, N2, and N3 are NT$1,800; N4 and N5 are NT$1,650. Those who pass will receive an internationally recognized certificate. Passing scores are equivalent to the CEFR, allowing test takers to accurately assess their proficiency. V. For detailed information about the test, please visit the JLPT Taiwan website or contact the First Section of the Comprehensive Testing Department of this center by phone.
