1. The Ministry of Agriculture is publicly soliciting applications for the FY116 (2027) Industry–Academia Collaboration Program in Agricultural Science and Technology from now until May 8, 2026 (Friday). The Office of Research and Development will also post the announcement on the university homepage.
2. Program Overview (for details, please refer to the attached documents):
(1) Project Scope and Requirements:
Proposed projects should focus on key industry areas within the scope of the Ministry of Agriculture’s responsibilities, excluding projects involving commissioned testing, certification, inspection, or experimental services for enterprises.
Application Limits: Each principal investigator may apply for up to two individual or sub-projects.
Project Duration: Limited to two years (from January 1 of the approved year to December 31 of the following year).
(2) Funding Amounts:
Policy-oriented industry–academia collaboration projects: No upper limit on total project funding; budgets should be prepared based on actual needs.
General industry–academia collaboration projects: The total funding per individual or sub-project is capped at NT$2,000,000 per year.
Matching Funds:
Each participating enterprise must contribute at least 10% of the total project budget. If an enterprise contributes 30% or more, it shall be entitled to priority negotiation rights for exclusive licensing of the project’s R&D.
