NSTC is soliciting proposals for the "Smart Health Industry-Academia Alliance Project." Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and approved projects will commence implementation on the actual approved date (not a fixed start date).

I. Key Focus Areas: The focus is on "clinical healthcare needs," "AI applications in care settings," and "home and rural healthcare systems."
II. Eligibility: Applications must be submitted by hospitals or schools within the alliance, forming an alliance with enterprises to develop integrated hardware and software smart health solutions. The primary verification site must be in the greater southern region or rural areas where solutions from the greater southern region cannot be applied.
III. Subsidy Amount: A maximum of NT$30 million per project.
IV. Enterprise Contribution: Enterprises must contribute no less than 50% of the total project cost, including equipment, but the total contribution cannot exceed 60% of the total contribution.
V. Implementation Period: A maximum of two years for research and development, with approval granted annually.
VI. Application Method: Applications will be accepted online through NSTC website.
