NSTC is soliciting applications for the 2027 "Industry-Academia Technology Alliance Cooperation Project (Industry-Academia Small Alliance)". Applicants must complete the online application process by 8:00 AM on Monday, August 24, 2026 (the deadline for internal applications). Late applications will not be accepted.

【Project Summary】 (Please refer to the attached document for details)
I. Project Objectives: To encourage university professors to establish core technology laboratories using their mature technological capabilities, and to recruit corporate members to provide technical services in the form of an alliance.

II. Project Implementation Focus:

(a) Phase 1: Laying the foundation for independent operation, with the goal of achieving independent operation through operating revenue.

(b) Phase 2 (including after the expiration of Phase 2): Promoting alliance upgrades, expanding service capabilities (cross-domain, cross-regional) and strengthening local connections (connecting with local industry clusters, cooperating with public associations).

III. Implementation Period: The project will be approved on a multi-year basis, with the implementation period from February 1st of the current year to January 31st of the following year. IV. Funding: Limited to NT$3 million annually.

V. Adjustments to the 2027 Funding Mechanism:

(I) The original two-phase, six-year limit on funding has been removed. Newly established alliances may continue their projects through annual applications after completing two phases (six years).

(II) Newly established alliance project leaders completing their first phase (within three years) may be allocated research leadership fees.
