In response to the African swine fever outbreak, the government has banned feeding pigs with kitchen waste. Since schools have no other disposal methods for kitchen waste, it is required to be sent to a waste incineration plant or landfill for processing. Because drained kitchen waste is disposed of in the same way as regular waste, it will not be collected separately. Please drain the kitchen waste before disposing of it in the trash can, and do not flush it down the toilet. The current kitchen waste bins on campus will be discontinued after the final exams of the second semester of the 2025 academic year.
