Regarding the food safety incident involving problematic oil products from Chung Lien Oils & Fats Co., Ltd. and its downstream manufacturers on July 1-2 (as attached): the oil contained approximately 4 times the permitted level of benzopyrene (BaP), a Group 1 carcinogen. Our school has not used any of these problematic oil products. Please rest assured, faculty and students!
