The implementation schedule and target groups for the 2026 vaccination program are as follows:
(I) Phase One (Starting October 1st of this year)
1. Medical and public health personnel.
2. Individuals aged 65 and above.
3. Indigenous people aged 55 and above.
4. Residents and staff of nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
5. Children aged 6 months and above until elementary school enrollment.
6. Pregnant women.
7. Individuals with underlying medical conditions, including high-risk chronic patients, those with a BMI ≥ 30, patients with rare diseases, and patients with serious injuries or illnesses.
8. Parents or caregivers of infants under 6 months old.
9. Kindergarten caregivers, non-temporary staff of care facilities, and home caregivers (nannies).
10. Students in grades 1-3 of elementary, junior high, high school, vocational high school, and five-year junior college. 11. Personnel related to poultry and livestock and animal disease prevention.
(II) Second Phase (starting November 2nd of this year): Adults aged 50-64 without high-risk chronic diseases.
Those who meet the above qualifications are welcome to get vaccinated within the specified period to enhance their personal protective capabilities.
