1. The National Applied Research Laboratories (NARLabs) has announced the First Round of the FY116 (2027) Visiting Research Fellow Program. Applications will be accepted from now until October 31, 2026. The Office of Research and Development will also post the announcement on the University's homepage.
2. Program Information:
Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time faculty members at the rank of Associate Professor or above at domestic public or private universities or colleges. Applicants must obtain approval from their home institution and conduct the short-term visiting research during their sabbatical or approved leave. The research period shall be three to six months, and the visiting period for this application round is from February to July 2027.
Research Support: Visiting researchers may receive a monthly research stipend of up to NT$30,000. In addition, transportation and accommodation expenses may be subsidized as needed, with a maximum of NT$20,000 per month.
Internal Submission Deadline: Applicants are requested to submit the required hard-copy application documents to the Office of Research and Development by October 27, 2026, to allow sufficient time for the University to issue the official recommendation letter and submit the application to NARLabs.
Rights, Obligations, and Intellectual Property: The rights and obligations of visiting researchers, as well as matters concerning intellectual property rights, shall be governed by the relevant regulations of NARLabs.
