"Heart to Heart, Learning About Emotions": 2026 SEL Social and Emotional Learning Carnival

National Cheng Kung University will hold the "Heart to Heart, Learning Emotions: 2026 SEL (Social Emotional Learning) Carnival" on October 31, 2026 (Saturday). Faculty, staff, and students are cordially invited to participate by setting up booths and showcasing SEL-related achievements, lesson plans, or promotional topics.

I. This event is conducted in accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter dated November 26, 2025 (Taiwan Education (I) No. 1142805184).
II. The event aims to implement the five core goals of SEL (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, interpersonal skills, and responsible decision-making) through interactive carnival activities, and to build a collaborative network for mental health education among universities and colleges in southern Taiwan.
III. Event Time: 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, October 31, 2026 (Saturday).
IV. Event Location: Lawn in front of the Student Activity Center, Guangfu Campus (Main Venue). V. Participants: All faculty, students, and staff of this school and other colleges and universities in the Southern Taiwan region, as well as community members and families.
VI. This carnival will feature 20 booths under the "Southern Taiwan Colleges and Universities Exhibition Booth." We sincerely invite colleges and universities in Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Pingtung, Taitung, Kinmen, and Penghu to set up themed booths. The scope of display includes, but is not limited to: SEL-related course concepts, implementation results, student works, emotion practice manuals, interactive emotion games, or DIY experience courses.
VII. Booth Application Method: Online registration is required. Please apply online before September 8th (Tuesday), 2026 (website: https://forms.gle/Nd1qCsDcuZ9b4Tpm7). Booths are limited and will be reviewed according to the order of application and content. 8. The expenses for this event (booth setup, display boards, tables, chairs, and other equipment) will be covered by the project outlined above. Participants are kindly requested to allow official leave for attendance and to be reimbursed for travel expenses according to regulations.
