1. To promote international knowledge exchange and dialogue on the marine environment, the Ocean Conservation Administration, Ocean Affairs Council, Taiwan, is hosting the "2026 International Forum on Marine Environment and Marine Debris Governance." Nearly 50 domestic and international experts and scholars from government, industry, academia, and research sectors are invited to exchange views on key topics including marine pollution prevention and control, marine debris governance, marine water and sediment quality management, marine environmental education, and international cooperation. This event aims to expand the achievements of Taiwan's marine environment management policies and strengthen international cooperation and engagement in ocean affairs.
2. Event Information:
•Dates: Tuesday, September 29 – Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
•Venue: 1F & 4F, NTUH International Convention Center (No. 2, Xuzhou Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City, Taiwan).
•Registration Method: Online registration is required. Registration is open from now until Monday, September 14, 2026. Please see the link below for the registration website.
•Interpretation: Simultaneous interpretation in Chinese and English will be provided.
•Notice: The organizer will send a pre-event notification via email three days prior to the event. Please note that on-site registration will not be accepted.
