The 2026–2027 Academic Year, First Semester “Creative Anti-Drug Vertical Meme” Design Competition (see attachment) is summarized as follows:

I. Competition Dates:
From the beginning of the semester on September 7, 2026 (Monday) until 5:00 p.m. on November 20, 2026 (Friday), Week 11.

II. Eligibility:
The competition is primarily open to all first- and second-year classes of the University, with at least one entry required from each class. Participants may choose either hand-drawn artwork or computer-generated artwork. Students from other year levels are also welcome to participate voluntarily. Each entry may be submitted by a maximum of two students working as a team.

III. Competition Guidelines:
(1) Content:
Entries should focus on themes related to drug-related hazards and drug abuse prevention education, presenting written content, stories, or ideas through visual and graphic expression.
(2) Specifications:
The competition is divided into two categories: hand-drawn artwork and computer-generated artwork. Each entry must be presented on one sheet of A4 paper in portrait orientation, with the registration form securely attached to the back. Physical entries must be submitted to the Student Assistance Section Office (L102) by the deadline for competition and record-keeping purposes. In addition, an electronic file (PDF or JPG format) must be sent to the organizer’s email address: kleo889@stust.edu.tw. Both the physical and electronic versions are required. Failure to submit either one will result in the entry being excluded from subsequent judging and award consideration.

IV. Judging:
Two professional external instructors will be invited to serve as judges.

V. Awards:
Outstanding entries from Honorable Mention to First Place will receive NT$750–NT$2,000 in prize money and one to two merit awards. To encourage active participation, all students who submit their completed entries by the deadline will receive two merit awards.

VI. Announcement of Results:
The list of winners will be announced on the University’s website in early December 2026, and award recipients will be notified to collect their prizes.

VII. Contact Information:
For any questions, please contact Mr. Kuan Chang-Shun of the Student Assistance Section, Office of Student Affairs, at campus extensions 2202–2203.
