2.In order to strengthen international students’ knowledge and awareness of drug prevention and enhance their ability to identify and prevent the harms associated with drugs, your institution is requested to strengthen drug prevention education and awareness campaigns specifically for international students.
3.Please make effective use of the drug prevention information and multilingual educational resources provided on the National Information Service for International Students (NISA) website, Information Exchange and Consultation Platform for Personnel Assisting International Students at Colleges and Universities (NISA) NISA website. Please also access the relevant drug prevention information through the announcements section of the website. The website provides multilingual content in Chinese, English, Vietnamese, and Indonesian. Please disseminate the relevant information through diverse channels to ensure that every international student on campus is aware of the information.
4.Considering the differences in the linguistic and cultural backgrounds of international students, when conducting relevant awareness activities, please make effective use of multilingual information and explain, in clear and easy-to-understand language, the harms of drugs, common forms and disguises of drugs, and the relevant legal responsibilities. Students should also be reminded to avoid becoming involved in drug-related offenses due to curiosity, accepting invitations from others, or carrying unidentified items on behalf of others.
5.The Ministry of Education conducts annual reviews concerning international students and will continue to monitor the university’s counseling, guidance, and drug prevention education and awareness efforts for international students.
