1. To guide young students into research fields that are not normally accessible, and to enhance their understanding of science and their focus on key areas of Taiwan's technological development through different perspectives, over one hundred research sites will be opened to the public over five weekends starting November 1, 2026 (Sunday).
2. The research sites open to the public include research centers under the Academia Sinica, government ministries and their supervising corporations, specialized research centers, science parks, the national research vessel fleet, the National Applied Research Laboratories, university laboratories, and corporate pavilions. These sites are presented along five main themes: Environmental Ecology, Smart Living, Biotechnology and Medicine, Cutting-Edge Technology, and Interdisciplinary Exploration. Activities will include guided tours, film screenings, lectures, and hands-on activities, covering basic science, applied science, and fields related to Taiwan's future scientific research vision. Sites are located throughout northern, central, southern, and eastern Taiwan (see attachment for details).
