The "Square-Circle Exchange" team of the Department of Visual Communication Design, STUST, took the beauty of Taiwan as their theme, and integrating the elements of Taiwan’s nature, culture, and sentiments together in its design a series of new versions of Taiwanese currency, which show different values according to different currency values. Their work gives money the functions of "collecting value" and "delivering blessings." The design team believes that "transactions" are closely related to human life, and each transaction carries a different story. Nowadays, virtual currency is gradually rising. There remains only a simple digital concept behind currency, without any story and sensibility. Therefore, the design team hopes to design a currency with Taiwanese culture and its warmth, so that physical currency can continue to survive in its new form in the future.

Deng-Maw Lu, President of STUST, said that in recent years, STUST has performed well in many design competitions at home and abroad. In the future, STUST will continue to train students into world-class talents and continue to shine in the global arena.
