STUST held a grand opening for the 111 Grade Graduation Exhibition of the College of Digital Design: "Reiteration→Reflection".

STUST launched the Graduation Exhibition of the College of Digital Design on April 19. Through the form of on-campus exhibition, the Department of Visual Communication Design, the Department of Creative Product Design, the Department of Multimedia and Computer Entertainment Science, the Department of Information Communication, and the Department of Pop Music Industry brought out a total of 136 works. With diverse themes on display, the exhibition showed an integrated application of digital communication, cultural aesthetics, entertainment industry, and art design that students have studied in their four years of university. Holding up an innovative vision of the world, the joint graduation exhibition of the five departments went all the way From April 19 to April 22. People were welcome to the show in the Sanlian Hall of STUST.

The theme of the exhibition was "Reiteration→Reflection". Reiteration refers to the continuous accumulation in the process of exploration and self-advancement from experience over and over again. Reflection is to convey one's own point of view through the results of creation and strive to speak out in every stage of performance.

The Department of Visual Communication Design took (R)evolution as its theme. The works include three groups: commercial design, animation, and creation. The design content was diversified, including green circular design, interactive integration design, local creation and cultural assets and other related issues. The video category also covered animation techniques such as 3D, 2D, and still motion. There were 12 animation designs, 9 commercial designs, 10 packaging and three-dimensional designs, and 7 augmented reality and interactive designs. Through new thinking and attitudes, all these works present things that are new, changing, and reborn, swearing loudly that we are contemporary with design.

The Department of Creative Product Design took the theme of "shadow and invisible" and developed from the concept of water form. The works were divided into three categories, 2 for materials and crafts, 9 for innovative products, and 10 for interactive technology. Among them, "Hosp" Barber Cart—Hospital Washing and Barbering Care Cart" was the work that won second place in the 2021 National Smart Long-term Care and Application Special Proposal Competition. In this aging society with a shortage of medical human resources, long-term care and other related issues have become a need for people to face together. Starting from "people" and integrating APP software with human factors design, they created a more professional and comfortable service environment, in pursue of a better and happier future through the complementation of software and hardware,

The Department of Multimedia and Computer Entertainment Science took the theme of "Super Tour". With the new trend of the Metaverse, a virtual Internet celebrity "Doram" was created to interact and play with people between reality and reality. The content of 20 works this year was very diverse and relevant. The most eye-catching work—"Wan Wu Jie"—is a 3A-level 3D action game, featuring exquisite visuals and gorgeous strike and slash special effects. Players can kill enemies with different sequences, which can trigger special effects and skill mechanisms to help players obtain pleasure and rich experience when playing the games.

The Department of Information and Communication, with the theme of "Meeting Together", exhibited a total of 27 works, including 1 feature film work, 2 documentary works, 1 animation work, 12 news feature works and 11 integrated marketing works. The student works had won the "Proceeding to the Mountain and Staying in Chingshan Micro Film Contest--Special Gold Award", the ”30th Times Daily Golden Calf International Competition", "TVBS Global Chinese Sustainable Report Award—Student Group Long and Short News" by the Environmental Protection Agency of the Executive Yuan Feature Report Award", "Public Television PeoPo Citizen Journalism Award—Best Video News Award", and "TSC 7th Chongyue Marketing Awards Competition-Silver Award".

The theme of the graduation show of the Department of Pop Music Industry was "Soundprint Boat Talk". This year's graduation production completed a total of 30 self-composed songs and filmed 21 MVs. Breaking away from the traditional publicity methods in the past, this event was paired with the official Instagram account. @legend_of_vessels situational puzzle-solving interaction, making performances and promotions more watchable.

Deng-Maw Lu, President of STUST, said that in recent years, in addition to enhancing students' learning effectiveness in professional fields, the school has also vigorously promoted the cultivation and improvement of students' abilities in general education, art, sports, community activities and moral education. The main purpose is to lay the foundation for the long-term development of students in the workplace in the future. in order to immerse students in In a high-quality environment, the school has also put a lot of effort into the environment, such as Heaven and Earth Square, By the Water Square, Scholar Garden, 3d Digital Gallery, the construction of the largest rainy-day stadium on campus in the country, and other beautiful life areas. The 111 Grade Graduation Exhibition of the College of Digital Design, STUST, will also participate in the Kaohsiung Pier-2 Art Zone "Youth Design Festival" (5/12-15) and the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center's "Viewing Awards" (5/18-20). In June, it will be exhibited at the "New Generation Design Exhibition" (6/1-6/4) at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, inviting people who are interested in communication, design, life applications, entertainment and music.
