The first performance of the 113 Graduation Production Exhibition of the Department of Popular Music Industry, STUST, was held on March 18 on the campus lawn in front of Sanlian Hall. This Taiwan-wide tour, along with its theme development, song creation, event planning and publicity, lighting hardware and stage design, was entirely managed by the graduating class of 113. A total of 90 students participated in the planning and execution, showing the solid energy accumulated for four years in the Department of Pop Music Industry, STUST.

Cheng-wen Wu, President of STUST, said that this event was the release of the results of four-year study of the graduating class of the Department of Pop Music Industry, STUST. Over the past four years, the students have learned not only about performing in front of the screen, but also about some things behind the scenes. They worked on all the important projects, such as stage design, sound control and other equipment software, and online marketing to spread the works, which constitute the entire pop music industry. Judging from the trend of industry development, the pop music industry is changing very rapidly. It is a completely different industry type from the record production 20 or 30 years ago. For example, the famous American singer Taylor Swift recently won the Person of the Year. Her influence is not only a cultural phenomenon, but also has exerted great influence on industrial aspects. Students are encouraged to understand that the future of this industry depends on hard work and should not be limited to music creation and performance. From an industrial perspective, we hope that students can cooperate with teachers and students in engineering, marketing and other fields during their studies. They should not only help others make small screws on campus, but also create their own future. STUST will also assist students in cross-field research and cooperation to create the future and enhance the value of students.

Yu-wen Zhu, who served as the general organizer of the annual concert, expressed his gratitude to all the participating cadres and students for their efforts. Without everyone’s cooperation, this event would not have been so successful. Yuan-han Yang, the leader of the concert lighting technical team and the drummer of the band "Gentle Baby", also said that he is passionate with the work before and behind the scenes, and this performance also satisfied him once and for all. In this performance, Prof. Zhi-jie Hsu and Jia-zhang Yeh expressed their affirmation of the creative energy of the students. They also hoped that the performances in Kaohsiung and Taipei would attract more music lovers to attend and witness the talents and efforts of the students.

The next performance has been performed at Kaohsiung Zheng-gang Small Theater on 3/21 (Thursday) at 18:00, and the Taipei performance will be performed at 16:00 on 4/20 (Saturday) at NUZONE. The theme of this year's graduation performance is "YOUR, TH", based on the heroine’s reliving campus life through dreams and finding the courage to live. A total of 14 groups of talented orchestras combined drama and music to create, producing 42 original songs and more than 150 minutes of live music performances. The performance attracted hundreds of people STUST teachers, students, and parents participated and received enthusiastic responses.
