EMBA of STUST achieved great success again in its cultivation of industry leaders: General Manager Yi-shiang Lin won the Top 100 MVP

EMBA of STUST had great achievement again. General Manager Yi-shiang Lin, an alumnus, was awarded the Top 100 MVP Manager, leading Nanfeng Molding to successfully transform its operation and upgrade from the traditional mold manufacturing industry to a manufacturing service industry that provides one-stop services—from design to mass production. Through vertical integration, the company's self-made rate has risen to as high as 95%, significantly improving product quality and shortening delivery times. This outstanding achievement earned Mr. Lin the honor of the 17th Top 100 MVP Managers of Managers Monthly in 2024, adding another gold medal to STUST’s EMBA's ten consecutive years of recommending alumni to participate in this competition.

The success of Nanfeng Molding not only attracted Gogoro such precision electronics companies as Jiadeng to cooperate with it, but also set a new example for Taiwan's manufacturing industry. Mr. Lin said that this award is the best recognition of the company's persistence in innovation and excellence over these years.

Tsang-shiang Zheng, Director of STUST's EMBA, was honored as Mr. Lin's received the award. He said that the EMBA curriculum design closely follows the pulse of the industry and encourages students to be bold in innovation and cross-border integration. Through interactions with outstanding alumni, students can continuously expand their horizons and improve their leadership capabilities. Director Zheng emphasized that STUST’s EMBA not only provides academic knowledge, but also focuses on cultivating students’ practical abilities so that they can become key figures leading industrial development.

After the award ceremony, Mr. Lin expressed special thanks to the EMBA Director and senior students who came despite their busy schedules and to STUST’s EMBA for the learning resources it provided. He hoped that he would be more diligent, work harder to improvement himself, and do his best to lead the Nanfeng’s team to achieve great results.

Neng-fu Huang, President of STUST, said that alumnus Yi-shiang Lin won the top 100 MVP managers is the best recognition of the educational achievements of EMBA. The successful transformation of Nanfeng Molding is the best example for us to encourage students to apply what they have learned into practice and actively integrate with the industry. In the future, STUST will continue to deepen industry-university cooperation, cultivate more outstanding talents like Mr. Lin, and contribute to Taiwan's industrial upgrading.
