Leading the Way in Sustainable Education: STUST Deepens Teacher Training and
Fulfills Social Responsibility
The successful conclusion of the seminar not only deepened participants'
understanding of AI in education but also underscored the essential and
irreplaceable role of teachers in this new era of technological change. STUST remains
committed to advancing educational innovation, strengthening the integration of
teacher training with real-world practice, and cultivating high-quality educators
equipped with digital literacy and cross-disciplinary thinking. Together, we move
forward toward a sustainable educational future.
To fulfill the university's mission of social responsibility, the Center for Teacher
Training continues to promote practical initiatives that link academic training with
educational practice. Among these, Prof. Zhi-lian Wang led the Ministry of
Education’s “USR Practice Project for Teacher Training – Peer Change: Building a
Collaborative Learning Community” to guide students in engaging with local
communities through educational service and innovative teaching design.
Simultaneously, Prof. Yu-chiang Li implemented the “2025 Ministry of Education
Schweitzer Spirit Educational Service Plan,” encouraging students to participate in
rural education support and gain hands-on teaching experience. Additionally, Prof.
Shao-hua Chang organized the “2025 Ministry of Education In-service Teacher
Bilingual Teaching Empowerment Credit Course,” designed to continuously enhance
bilingual teaching competencies among in-service educators. These initiatives not
only reflect STUST’s dedication to its educational mission but also proactively
respond to the growing societal demand for professional educators in primary and
secondary education.
STUST warmly welcomes aspiring educators to apply for its Master of Education
Management Program and teacher training courses. Together, let us build a high-
quality teaching force equipped with digital skills and interdisciplinary
capabilities—and pave the way toward a bright, smart, and sustainable future in
education.
