2020/4/15 USR Program of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology has been working with the International Affairs Office on developing an international tour to Shennong Street, jointly organizing an English tour to Shennong Street. The Shennong Street Area, developed by the USR Program team of "Creation and Dissemination of Cultural Elements—Fucheng v.s. Yuejin" from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, was particularly introduced by the Thai tourism program TA DAI MA in April last year (2019). In June 2019, the Japanese "PEN" magazine even used Yaowang Temple at Shennong Street as its cover. This not only increased Shennong Street's international exposure, but also attracted many 2020/4/14 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology team participated in the 2020 National College and University Track and Field Championship and won 2 silver and 2 bronze medals. The Southern Taiwan University of Technology track and field team recently participated in the 2020 National College and University Track and Field Competition, organized by Track and Field Association of the Republic of China, winning 2 silver and 2 bronze medals with their outstanding performances. 2020/4/13 Germany iF Design Talent Award design rookie award winner list announced: Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won many awards with fruitful results. German iF Design Talent Award design rookie award recently announced the list of winners, the team of the Department of Creative Product Design, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, won multiple awards, including the 3 works produced under the guidance of Instructor Ya-Lin Chen, two of which won the Winner Awards and one won an Excellent Work Award. All of the three works directed by Prof. Kun Ouyang won Excellent Work Awards. 2020/4/8 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Department of Biology and Food Science and Technology, "Mini Plant Vegetation" Successfully Developed Technology Transfer. The research team directed by Prof. Jia-Ping Lai of the Department of Biotechnology and Food Technology, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, has developed various types of miniature plant bottle plants based on the plant tissue culture technology and various special media developed by the laboratory.
