2018/10/29 The team "Taiwan Industry 4.0 Exploration 2.0" from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won 4th place and NT$ 200,000in the second TSMC Equipment Innovation Competition. The team "Taiwan Industry 4.0 Exploration 2.0," formed by graduate students and undergraduate students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Electronic Engineering, 2018/10/24 Students of the Department of Hospitality Management, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, were elected representatives for Taiwan to participate in the Dim Sum Production Category of the 2019 International Skills Competition. Yu-Shang Hong and Yuan-Han Kang, students of the Department of Hospitality Management, 2018/10/22 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won first prize and third prize in the 2018 National Chem-E-Car Championship. The 2018 National Chemical E-Car Competition, sponsored by the National Defense University and the Taiwan Chemical Engineering Society was held at the National Defense University of Science and Technology. Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology sent seven teams to participate. Among them, 2018/10/15 The Research and Development Team of the Internet of Things Laboratory of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won first prize outstanding paper achievement award at the 7th IEEE Global Conference on Consumer Electronics of the American Electrical and Electronic Association. The 7th IEEE Global Conference on Consumer Electronics (GCCE 2018) was held in Nara, Japan. The Laboratory of Electronics and Internet of Things, 2018/10/12 Zhi-Yang Wu of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won a gold medal in the 2018 INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF INVENTIONS GENEVA: Minister of Education came to show his tribute.
