2018/11/13 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology held the "National High School Japanese Speech Contest" to provide high school students with an opportunity to show their achievements in learning Japanese language. The Goodwill Ambassadors of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology have been formed for more than 10 years. 2018/11/8 Department of International Business, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, won the championship of the 2018 National University (5th) Creative Marketing Planning Competition Ume—a student team from the Department of International Business, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology--recently participated in the 2018 National University (5th) Creative Marketing Planning Competition, organized by China University of Science and Technology, winning the championship of the Creative Marketing Group. 2018/11/5 Electronic Science and Technology Network Laboratory, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, won third place and an excellence award in the 2018 National Microcomputer Application System Design Creation Competition. The final of the 2018 National Microcomputer Application System Design Creation Competition, 2018/10/30 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Science and Technology worked together, establishing a new derivative company: the world's first medicine for Alzheimer's disease is about to come out for the well-being of people, which has drawn global attention.
