2018/10/8 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology had a brilliant record in the 2018 Taiwan Innovation and Technology Expo. It won three gold medals, three silver medals, and one bronze medal. The 2018 Taiwan Innovation and Technology Expo was held recently at the Taipei World Trade Center, focused on 5+2 industry innovations. At the same time, it invited a total of 496 manufacturers and institutions from nearly 33 countries in Southeast Asia, Europe, America and Japan to participate in the event, trying to promote cooperation and intellectual property cooperation between international industries by building up a linking of multinational technology. 2018/9/19 The Ministry of Education granted universities with subsidies from its Industrial Innovation Research and Development Program. Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology is the only private university that has acquired the grant. According to a recently announced list of approved universities that have received the grant of Industrial Innovation Research and Development Program from the Ministry of Education. 2018/9/18 A Great Achievement of the Sprout Program Higher Education: Prof. Bo-Ming Li of the Department of Electronic Engineering, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, won the National Super Teacher Award. The 2018 Super Teacher Award was held at the award ceremony. Deputy Minister of Education Shi-Li Fan came to present the award. 2018/9/17 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology became the only university of Science and Technology that has acquired the grant of "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Foundation in College" Entrepreneurship Management and Action Learning Program. The Ministry of Education recently announced that the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Headquarter, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, 2018/9/14 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won the bronze medal of the 2018 Excellent College in Career Counseling Achievement. Youth Development Administration, the Ministry of Education, recently held a conference for the career counseling of the colleges and universities nationwide, where their achievements in 2018 were exhibited.
