2017/11/7 20 groups of masters in mechanics met in the final decisive combat for the 2017 intelligent Robot Contest: creative and original intelligent robots added great energy to the basement in Southern Taiwan Science Park. The Science and Technology Southern Science Park Bureau actively built a service platform for innovation and entrepreneurship in southern Taiwan and has been promoting a one-stop service mechanism from creative production to innovation and entrepreneurship. Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology held a "Bicycle Parking Brick Lock" conference. Supported by the plan of the Ministry of Education to develop a model science and technology university project, Prof. Jia-Cheng Chang of the Department of Innovative Product Design, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, led his students to design the "Bicycle Parking Brick Lock." STUST held a press conference on October 27 to demonstrate its transition from design concept to prototype product and the current actual setting... 2017/10/26 President Chien Tai of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology was awarded the prize of " Top 10 Outstanding Private School Presidents " President Chien Tai of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, won the first "Top 10 Outstanding Private School Presidents" awarded by the Society for the Private Education. He attended the presentation ceremony on October 26. President Chien Tai also received recognition from pre-education minister Rong-Cun Huang, Wei-Fan Guo, and Zong-Shin Hu, Chairman of the Private School Association. 2017/10/25 University R & D Achievements Commercialized to encourage the Creation of New Ventures: Prof. Yi-Ren Su from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology was granted NT$ 20 Million for further research and development, as the only private university of science and technology given the approval. The team of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, led by Prof. Yi-Ren Su was granted NT$ 20 Million as funding for further research and development with its project --"Treatment of Alzheimer's Disease with A New Formulation of Turmeric Derivatives." On November 25, the team was invited to the launching ceremony of the project, held by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
