2017/11/15 Open your house and the world is at your home: Ministry of Education celebrated the 8th Anniversary of its Homestay Program! The Ministry of Education held a press conference on November 5 for the achievements of its "Friendly Taiwan--International Students Homestay Program" over the past 8 years. The precious event was chaired by Minister of Education Chung-Wen Pan, with 20 warm-hearted families from Taiwan and 10 international students invited to join the festival, which was warm and touching. 2017/11/15 Dr. Deng-Maw Lu served as Acting President of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology. President Chien Tai of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, who had been appointed President of CPC Corporation, delivered his stamp to Executive Vice President Deng Maw Lu under the supervision of Chairman Hsin-Hsiong Chang, which signified that Lu would take lead of STUST as the university keeps moving forward. Lu has served at STUST for 33 years. From a lecturer to a vice president, he has a great profile with rich experience. 2017/11/13 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology held the first High School Japanese Speech Contest: the first one supported by enterprises in Taiwan. Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology held the "2017 National Senior Vocational High School Japanese Speech Contest" at the International Conference Hall of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology for the finals. The 15 finalists were excellent representatives who came to the fore after a fierce competition in the preliminary competition. They all performed very well. 2017/11/9 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology is taking the lead of the industry with its AIoT research and development AIoT Smart Networking Alliance of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology held a press conference on November 9 for R & D equipment donation and industry-university cooperation with its three business partners— STMicroelectronics Limited, Unabit Network Co., Ltd., and Jorjin Technologies Inc. 2017/11/8 The USR program of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology moved forward to Yanping Community of Jiali District to enhance the use of English in various aspects. To implement the “2017 University Social Responsibility Practice Plan—Jiali Hsiaolong English Community Care Program," Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology has dispatched its cross-campus English team again to Jiali District.
