2017/12/2 The 29th Auto Show of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology attracted more than 100,000 visitors. Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology held the largest auto show in South Taiwan—the 29th Auto Show of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology—on the 2nd and 3rd of December for the purpose of greeting the 48th anniversary of STUST. Since 1989, more than 200 teachers and students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering have participated each year in the auto show. 2017/12/1 Department of Leisure, Recreation, and Tourism Management, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won first and second prizes in the 2017 Taijiang Cup Creative Trip Design Competition. The team from the Department of Leisure, Recreation, and Tourism Management, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, directed by Prof. Hong-Yu Shih and Prof. Bi-Chung Tsai, won the first and second prizes in the 2017 Taijiang Cup Creative Trip Design Competition, organized by the Luer Community of the Annan District and directed by Taijiang National Park Service Center and Tainan City Government. 2017/11/29 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology held the 2017 Campus Entrepreneurship Competition to cultivate the foundations of entrepreneurship and make students graduate with businesses of their own. Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology held the 2017 Campus Entrepreneurship Competition, with 15 teams out a total of 40 teams entering the final and 200 students participating in the competition. Focused on industry demand, STUST invited A-Line Radio and Productivity Development Co., Ltd. to assign topics that inspired students to come up with innovative solutions. 2017/11/24 Congratulations! "Finguide" by Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won the Silver Award of the 2017 UXDA China User Experience Design Competition. Prof. Kun Ouyang and Lecturer Ya-Ling Chen of the Department of Innovative Product Design, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, led their team to participate in the 2017 UXDA China User Experience Design Competition. Over the past years, this competition has attracted a great number of students from the colleges ... 2017/11/20 The team "Hing-Bar-Ke" from the Department of Innovative Product Design, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, won two awards for the Red Dot Design Concept Award in Germany, with their works "Grapees" and "Fiber Vine Peels." The team "Hing-Bar-Ke" from the Department of Innovative Product Design, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, was formed by eight students and directed by Prof. Hong-Ming Chen. Their graduation projects,"Grapees" and "Fiber Vine Peels," won two awards for the 2017 Red Dot Design Concept Award in Germany.
