1. This is in accordance with the Ministry of Education's Department of National and Preschool Education letter No. 1145702606, dated July 28, 2025.
2. To train qualified new immigrant language teaching support personnel in Tainan City and to prepare the teaching staff needed for elementary and middle schools in Tainan City, we are offering a 36-session qualification class in seven Southeast Asian languages (Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Myanmar, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Malaysia). We request your assistance in publicizing the program.
3. Details of the training program (see attachment) are as follows:
(1) Class dates: November 1, 2, 8, 9, and 15, 2025, for a total of 5 days and 36 hours.
(2) Class location: Xinshi Elementary School (No. 1, Zhongxing Street, Xinshi Village, Xinshi District, Tainan City).
(3) Eligibility: Applicants must be 20 years of age or older, familiar with the new immigrant language, and meet one of the following requirements:
1. New immigrants and their children who are interested in teaching Southeast Asian languages. 2. Foreign students who meet the requirements of the Employment Services Act.
3. Southeast Asian language department (or graduate) students (including graduates) who are interested in teaching Southeast Asian languages.
4. Possess a certificate officially recognized domestically or internationally in a language of a new immigrant, or meet other certification criteria.
4. Registration: Please prepare your ID and a photo of relevant supporting documents by October 3, 2025 (Fri) and register at the following website (https://forms.gle/Kwq4oaZ4Jeac4wr4A).
5. This course accepts applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes must have at least three students per language category, with a maximum of 25 students per category, until the quota is filled. If a class is not filled for a particular language category, an email notification will be sent by October 8 (Wed).
6. This course is free of charge. Those who attend the course and pass the training will be issued a "Certificate of Qualification for New Immigrant Language Teaching Support Workers" by the Bureau.
