[Symposium] The Department of Cultural Heritage Conservation of National Yunlin University of Science and Technology will hold the "26th Shanhaiguan Cultural Heritage Academic Symposium - Combining Mountains and Seas: Cultural Heritage Mosaic Assembly" from May 28th to 29th, 2026 (Thursday to Friday). Faculty and students are welcome to submit papers.

I. Target Audience: Full-time and part-time faculty members, researchers, and master's and doctoral students with expertise in Chinese language and literature from domestic and international universities and colleges. Papers must be published by a single author, limited to one paper per person.

(II) Architectural Heritage and Settlement Preservation.

(III) Cultural Resource Research and Application.

(IV) Cultural Administration and Cultural Management.

(V) Others Related to Cultural Assets.

III. Important Information Regarding Paper Submission:

(I) Abstract Submission Deadline: January 12, 2026 (Monday).

(II) Abstract Review Results Announcement: February 6, 2026 (Friday).

(III) Full Paper Submission Deadline: March 2, 2026 (Monday).

(IV) Full Paper Review Results Announcement: April 10, 2026 (Friday).

(V) Full Paper Revision Deadline: April 27, 2026 (Monday). (VI) Deadline for submission of posters and electronic files, and oral presentation PPTs: April 27, 2025 (Monday). Posters sent by registered mail will be considered valid upon postmark.

IV. Submission Guidelines:

(I) Oral Paper Submissions: Abstracts should be limited to 800 words and include the title, authors and affiliations, research background, research methods, research findings and discussion, conclusions, and keywords (3-5). Figures, tables, and references may also be provided.

(II) Poster Paper Submissions: Abstracts should be limited to 800 words and include the title, authors, research purpose, research methods, research findings and discussion, conclusions, and keywords (3-5).

(III) Submissions must be in both Chinese and English.

(IV) All submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published in any conference or journal or be under review, in order to uphold academic ethics.
