n8n is an open-source workflow automation tool that connects various applications through a visual drag-and-drop interface, automating repetitive tasks without requiring code.
A major cybersecurity vulnerability announcement was recently released (CVE-2026-1470, CVSS: 9.9). This is a remote code execution vulnerability that allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of an n8n process. This could lead to unauthorized access to sensitive data, workflow modification, and the execution of system-level operations.
