Subject: NSTC and the Spanish National Research Agency (AEI) are jointly soliciting international collaborative research projects under the 2026 Taiwan-AEI bilateral agreement. Applications are open from now until April 14, 2026 (internal deadline for submissions).

Notes:
1. This solicitation is based on the Memorandum of Understanding on Scientific and Technological Cooperation signed between NSTC and AEI.

2. Project applications must be jointly developed by the project leaders from both Taiwan and Spain and submitted separately to NSTC and AEI for review. Failure to receive an application from either party will result in the project's disqualification.

3. Applications must be compiled and submitted through the project leader's institution within the system, and the application list must be sent to NSTC by May 19, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.

4. Selected projects are scheduled to commence on October 1, 2026, for a period of three years. Applications not awarded funding will not be accepted.
